After earning a BBA from Acadia University with focus in marketing and finance, Matthew began his first career with RBC Royal Bank. He finished 5 years in banking as Sr. Account Manager for small business clients, including several restaurant franchisees. In 2009, Matt was fortunate to learn about a growing restaurant franchisee based in his home town Woodstock, New Brunswick. Making the career change was an easy decision – he quickly moved home from Toronto.

Pursuing the rare opportunity paid off. As FMI’s first marketing hire, Matthew combined his love for food & beverage with his sales expertise. Matthew now leads a team of talented marketers each focused on managing one of FMI’s unique brands. The Marketing Team continues to be both challenged and excited by FMI’s growth as we acquire new locations and diversify our brands. Most importantly, Matthew sees tremendous potential to grow same store sales of all divisions and is focused on providing the best service possible to our guests.
